DEREK

DIRECTOR/BUILDER

Derek is a Bayside local with 25 years worth of experience in the construction industry. He has twenty three years of building experience, and spent two years landscaping.

In his spare time, Derek enjoys camping with his three children, golfing with his mates, and watching the NRL any way it comes. If he wasn’t a builder, he'd be a fire fighter.

Derek's favourite thing about his job is: Bringing the outside in with QLD open plan living.

Derek loves to create living spaces that bring the outside in utlising Queensland style open living.

RUSS

DIRECTOR/BUILDER/PLUMBER

Russ is a local to the Bayside with 25 years industry experience, split between plumbing for fifteen years,  and building & plumbing for ten years.

In his spare time, Russ enjoys camping with his three kids, golfing, surfing and kitesurfing. If he wasn’t a builder, he'd be a helicopter pilot.

Russ' favourite thing about his job is seeing a great dream design come to life for his clients.

We have used Russell’s professional services for about 15 years. During that period, he has completed several major projects and addressed maintenance issues on both our home and city apartments.

He undertook a major ‘sympathetic rebuild’ of the rear sunroom on our 100 year old Queenslander, together with a full bathroom rebuild, verandah-decking replacement and rebuilding our boundary fence.

He also completely refurbished one apartment doing most of the demolition, design and construction works himself and project managed the remaining trades.

Russell has unhesitatingly addressed all our maintenance issues in a prompt, pleasant and efficient manner. His professional approach, extensive skill set and attention to detail go together with his thinking ‘outside the box’ to solve any tricky issues.
